San Teodoro

San Teodoro’s coastal landscape, where granite cliffs meet the salty Mediterranean winds of northeast Sardinia’s Gallura coast, shapes a unique agricultural identity. Out of the 18 protected denominations overlapping this maritime territory, the prized Vermentino di Gallura DOCG reigns supreme, cultivated within a restricted zone of just 23 municipalities. The granite-rich soils and intense coastal sunshine infuse this white wine with its signature mineral salinity. Alongside it, the Colli del Limbara IGT utilizes the rugged inland slopes, demonstrating how San Teodoro's dramatic geography between sea and mountain defines some of Sardinia's most characterful bottles.
