Campiglione Fenile

Situated just fifteen kilometers south of Pinerolo, Campiglione Fenile thrives in a fertile Piedmontese transition zone where mountain winds meet the plain. This unique geography nurtures 16 protected denominations. Chief among these is the Pinerolese DOC, a wine designation shared across a small zone of 34 municipalities, which captures the crisp alpine character of local vineyards. The lowland orchards also yield the distinctive Mela Rossa Cuneo IGP, a red apple shaped by the dramatic day-to-night temperature swings of this Alpine shadow, demonstrating how alpine topography directly dictates local agriculture.
