It highlights rare indigenous varieties; while the red blend features Avanà and Becuet, the DOC uniquely permits a monovarietal white wine from the Baratuciat grape. These specialized monovarietal wines must adhere to a strict maximum yield of 7.0 tons per hectare, resulting in dry, acidulous, and highly localized wines reaching a minimum of 11.0% vol.
