Furthermore, the official guidelines explicitly ban tendone trellising, demanding alternative vine-training methods capped at a yield of 9.0 tonnes per hectare. Despite its long history and characteristic golden-yellow, velvety profile, the DOC currently records zero verified producers, making it one of Italy's most elusive viticultural designations.
