Lison-Pramaggiore

Wine · PDO · 19 municipalities

Recognised since 1996, the Lison-Pramaggiore DOC spans nineteen municipalities, including Annone Veneto and Azzano Decimo. What distinguishes this denomination from its neighbors is its strict provincial boundary rules: the Cabernet franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Pinot grigio varietal designations are reserved exclusively for grapes grown in the Pordenone portion of the zone. For the base white wine, Tai must comprise at least 50% of the blend, keeping yields to 12.0 tonnes per hectare. For its sweet Passito styles, grapes must wither naturally and cannot be pressed before 15 November, followed by a mandatory twelve-month aging period.
