The MASAF-recognised Consorzio Emilia-Romagna safeguards the authenticity of three wine designations. On behalf of its producer base, this consortium maintains the official registries and defends the names of Colli Bolognesi Pignoletto DOCG, Colli Bolognesi DOC, and Emilia-Romagna DOC from imitations. Currently, the consortium represents a scale of 82 verified producers on its official lists, all of whom are dedicated to the Colli Bolognesi Pignoletto DOCG, while the Colli Bolognesi DOC and Emilia-Romagna DOC categories currently record zero active producers.
